In this time of need, United Blood Services says it needs to see more of the people it calls "heroes" blood donors. A steady stream of donors raised their sleeves for the cause Friday but UBS Director Les Long says it's not enough.
UBS has less than a day's supply of all blood types on its shelves. You can donate at three different locations Saturday.
- UBS will be open from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
- Health South at University and South Loop 289 will be open for donors from 9 a.m.- 2 p.m.
- You can also donate at United Supermarket in Brownfield, starting at 2 p.m.
