The investigation continues in the death of a 25 year-old Lubbock man who was found dead in his SUV Saturday morning. Cory Wayne Rogers was found in the back of a Ford Expedition in the 2400 block of 95th St.
Lubbock Police say Rogers was found by a friend just rafter 9:30 a.m. After interviewing those who had last seen Rogers, authorities say he had been out drinking with friends.
When he was returned to his car around 4:00 a.m., Rogers was too intoxicated to drive so he was placed in the back of the SUV. Police say there are no obvious signs of foul play, but an autopsy and toxicology report have been ordered.
