NRA sues both the state and federal gov't in Lubbock

LUBBOCK,TX (KCBD) -

On Monday the NRA filed paperwork to appeal that ruling to the fifth circuit. The National Rifle Association sued both the state and federal government here in Lubbock on behalf of young persons between the ages of 18 to 21.

In their claim against the state, the NRA said Texas discriminates by not issuing concealed handgun permits to anyone under 21. The judge ruled in favor of Texas law.
