Posted: Updated:
LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

The City of Lubbock is about to crack down on water use violators.

Code Enforcement Director Stuart Walker says those who violate the restrictions will be given no more warnings.

Right now Lubbock is in Stage 1 of drought restrictions but Walker says starting April 1st the city will move to Stage 2.

This means you can't wash your car in your driveway and you can't fill up your Jacuzzi or pool after April 1st.

Violators can be fined up to $200.
