Lubbock man dies in crash outside of Shamrock

WHEELER COUNTY, TX (KCBD) -

The Texas Department of Public Safety says a Lubbock man died Saturday night in a crash near Shamrock.  That's in Wheeler County to the east of Amarillo.

DPS says Christopher Ryan Sanders of Lubbock was driving north on Farm to Market Road 453 near County Road X.  A pickup, driven by Brody Michael Lockeby of Shamrock crossed the center line.  DPS says Lockeby's pickup hit Sander's Tahoe almost directly head on.

Sanders, Lockeby and Lockeby's passenger, Randy Allen Tolbert of Shamrock, were all pronounced dead at the scene.  No cause has been listed in official reports yet.  DPS did say that the roads were dry and the weather was clear.
