A 13-year-old boy was struck by a vehicle at 73rd & Chicago on Monday.LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -
Emergency crews were called to 73rd and Chicago around 5 p.m. Monday after a 13-year-old boy was hit by an SUV.
13-year-old Justin Stovall was attempting to cross the street while Cheri Harper, 48, was driving south on Chicago in a silver Chevy SUV.
Police say the boy crossed in front of Harper's vehicle, failing to yield the right of way.
Stovall was transported to UMC with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
No charges have been filed as of Tuesday afternoon.
