Chance of severe storms Thursday night into Friday

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

The latest computer models show the potential for storms across the region Thursday, especially areas off the Caprock.

Showers may develop as early as 3 p.m. then move east with the severe weather threat along the region from Matador south to Snyder.

This activity will move away from Lubbock and the region through the morning hours Friday.

Lubbock could see some showers or possibly a storm by mid-evening.
