KCBD NewsChannel 11 LubbockLady Raiders kick off Super Bowl Sunday with a win

The Texas Tech Lady Raiders defeated the Lady Tigers from Missouri Sunday afternoon at the United Spirit Arena 76-49. The impressive victory featured four Lady Raiders scoring in double figures.

Casey Morris led the way scoring a game high 15 points. Kierra Mallard had a good game inside scoring 10 points and grabbing 9 rebounds. Lady Raiders Christine Hyde and Shauntal Nobles each scored 12 points in the win.

The win improves Tech to 16-6 on the season and 4-6 in Big 12 play. Next up for the Lady Raiders is a road game Wednesday in Stillwater against Oklahoma State.
