Man's Stomach Pumped After Accident

A suspicious move after an accident landed a Lubbock man in police custody Wednesday morning.

Police say a vehicle driven by a man rolled over after colliding with a parked truck at 34th and Avenue G around 1:30 am. Officers next noticed the man walking away from the scene, apparently trying to eat something.

He was taken to the hospital where doctors pumped his stomach. NewsChannel 11 contacted police, but were unable to find out what, if anything, doctors found.
