Annual African American History Bowl Awards Handed Out - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Wednesday, the 11th annual African American History Bowl handed out its top awards for students in Lubbock.

The top winner was Julia Shannon, a 6th grader at Smith Elementary. Teams from Rush Elementary took the top two team slots.

More than 36 teams from elementary schools throughout the district participated.
