2004 Home & Garden Show

Hundreds of Lubbockites flocked to the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center Saturday for the 2004 Home & Garden Show.

From outdoor sound equipment, to flooring, to backyard ponds, the home & garden show has local venders representing all of the latest trends and ideas in gardening and home improvement.

The show sponsored by the West Texas Home Builder's Association continues tomorrow from 11a.m. to 6p.m. The cost is $5 for adults and $2 for kids. Part of the proceeds of this year's show benefit the Children's Miracle Network.

    The South Plains has been placed under a Fire Weather Warning valid from this afternoon at 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. this evening. Sustained winds at 20-30 mph, warm temperatures and low relative humidity values will create an elevated to critical fire weather risk for our area. A cold front will move through our area late tonight, shifting winds out of the north. Monday morning will be cool and breezy.
