Lubbock police investigating death of officer

Yesterday, the Lubbock Police Department received a call in reference to a possible deceased person in the area of 106th Street and Quinton Avenue. 

Officer Diane Daniel, a seven year veteran of the Lubbock Police Department, was found deceased. 

An investigation is on-going and no criminal charges are anticipated.
