Watch out for pipes, plants and pets as freezing temps approach

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Pipes, plants and pets. With the chance of moisture and freezing temperatures this week, you need to look out for these three things.

The City of Lubbock also prepared for the coming freeze by placing salt and sand down at the intersection of 34th and Indiana on Wednesday.

Police called for it after noting the icy conditions there.

Also don't forget to shut off your sprinkler systems.
