A new candidate joined the race for Lubbock City Council.
Nathaniel Alsbrooks is seeking to represent District Two. Alsbrooks is the neighborhood involvement counselor for Lubbock MHMR. He says the people can expect him to be truthful and honest while representing their voice and opinions.
"The main reason I've decided to run is its always been a dream of mine and I teach my kids every day to set goals and chase their dreams so today I am proof of that," said Alsbrooks.
Also filing to run for District 2 are incumbent T.J. Patterson, retired Lubbock policeman Floyd Price, and Education Consultant Janie Ramirez.
