Dr. Seuss Reading Day - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Dr. Seuss Reading Day

Students in Lubbock are joining hundreds of schools across the nation in remembering Dr. Seuss' March 2nd birthday by reading a book.

Every year hundreds of schools participate in the celebration. On Thursday, some guest readers took the time to read to third grade students at Roscoe Wilson Elementary.

Mrs. Salinas' classroom joined the event. You might recognize a few of the guest readers- one of the 'Cats in the Hat' was NewsChannel 11's own Emily Jones.
