Lubbock couple conducts Valentine's Day wedding live on radio

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

While many couples are out celebrating Valentine's Day, one couple got a unique gift - a free wedding.

Dustin and Jessica Richardson were married live on KLLL radio at 7:30 Tuesday morning by Judge Hanson.

The couple won the wedding by calling in after an announcement from the radio station back in January.

"Mudflap," the radio host for KLLL said they really wanted to make this special for them.

"We wanted to do it today for Valentines Day and make it something, you know, something really to remember. This was a great wedding! Dustin and Jessica! Man, it was just exciting!" Mudflap said.

The wedding was made possible through various donations, including a cruise from National Travel.
