UMC is offering flu shot clinic this Saturday

Before you breathe a sigh of relief that flu season missed us this year, doctors are finding it now in their clinics.

Dr. Johnny Vuelvas said, "We're seeing a lot of cough, runny nose, and then high spiking fever usually pretty sudden up to 102. That's what i saw today. And that's what we usually look for when we look for flu."

It's still not too late to get a flu shot since the season could last into May. UMC Health System is offering a flu clinic this Saturday from 10:00 until 2:00 at HealthPoint located at 82nd and Memphis. It's 15 dollars a shot until they run out.
