Murder Trial Underway - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Jury selection began Monday in a Lubbock murder trial.

Phillip Hudson is accused of murdering Dewayne Dermont Trotty in March 2003. Police say 22-year-old Hudson and 27-year-old Trotty were arguing when gunfire erupted at the Garden Apartments. Hudson allegedly shot Trotty several times. Trotty died hours later from those wounds. Hudson turned himself in to authorities one month after the shooting.
