Mardi Gras starts Tuesday and Lubbock restaurants are ready to celebrate:
- Lubbock Meals on Wheels will be celebrating Fat Tuesday from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Civic Center Exhibit Hall, offering samples of food from 35 local restaurants and live jazz. You can find more information at www.lubbockmealsonwheels.org.
- Fox and Hound will have a Mardi Gras bash from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. You can find more information on their Facebook wall.
- Crawdaddy's at 5725 82nd St. will have a live crawfish boil, a DJ and a laptop giveaway for the best Mardi Gras costume.
- Nick's Bar at 9806 Quaker Ave. will have happy hour from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Lone Star Oyster Bar at 101st and Slide will be having a crawfish boil.
