Police search for suspects after shots fired at Lubbock motel

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Lubbock police are searching for two suspects after a handgun was fired Tuesday morning during a fight at the Texas Motor Inn, 2121 North I-27.

According to police, the two suspects were fighting with unknown parties in the parking lot of the motel when one of the suspects got a handgun. 

The unknown parties fled in a vehicle, police say. As they were fleeing, one of the suspects fired an unknown number of shots from the gun. The suspects then also fled the area. 

The other parties have not been located or identified. The suspects have been identified but no arrests have been made at this time, but the investigation is ongoing.
