Heart attack symptoms in women

Posted: Updated:

A new study of over a million heart attack patients finds more often, the women survivors say they felt no pain in the chest.  The study in the journal of the "American Association" says women are waiting too long to seek help because they don't feel the obvious symptom.

According to the study, the differences in heart attack symptoms become more alike as men and women age, but earlier in life, and especially in middle age.

Heart attack symptoms in women more often include discomfort, but not pain in the chest, pressure or pain in the shoulders and neck, dizziness or nausea, anxiety, and shortness of breath.
