Manufacturers are hoping the FDA will approve new diet drug

It's round two for Q-Nexa. Manufacturers are hoping that drug will be approved as the first prescription diet drug in more than a decade. The FDA said no the first time it asked because of concern over heart problems and possible birth defects in women, who became pregnant while on the drug. The makers say the drug comes with impressive weight loss results, so the FDA is reviewing it again. They are expected to make a final decision in April.
