Former Highland Hospital execs admit to tax fraud

Two executives of the former Highland Hospital admit they cheated on the hospital's taxes.

Herschel Breig was the Vice President and James Cheek was the founder and President of Highland's parent company Shiloh Health Services.

Court records say the two collected payroll taxes from their employees but never turned the money over to the federal government. The two were accused of not paying more than $1.8 million in taxes.

Highland has been sold to another company and has a completely different name. Breig and Cheek have nothing to do with the current ownership.

Both men will be sentenced at a later date to no more than five years in prison.
