Purple House Controversy Going to Court - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

The house on 25th and Indiana is at the center of a fight against the city to repeal the current housing and zoning ordinance. The ordinance states no more than two unrelated persons can live in a single family home.

Citations were issued against both the landlord and the current tenant back in October. The case, which first made news three years ago, is scheduled for trial April 13th.
