LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -
Covenant Community Health Outreach celebrated 25 years
of partnering with the St. Joseph Health System (SJHS) Foundation Tuesday by presenting a $10,000 check to Lubbock
Impact, a local not-for-profit organization.
Tuesday's check presentation of $10,000 commemorated the SJHS Foundation's 25th
anniversary of allocating resources to meet community needs and care for the
underserved.
Covenant Health System contributes 10 percent of its net
income to support programs and efforts, managed by Covenant Community Health
Outreach, to improve the lives of those who are economically poor.
The $10,000 donation will
directly support Lubbock Impact's free health clinic, on-site soup kitchen and
clothes closet for the community's underserved.
