Lubbock ISD cancels athletic events due to weather

The following athletic events in Lubbock ISD have been cancelled due to deteriorating weather conditions:

  • the girls Junior Varsity soccer game between Coronado and Amarillo High.  
  • All middle school track meets including: The Junior Varsity/Ninth-grade track meet scheduled at Chapman Field, Middle School track meets scheduled at Coronado.

All other local athletic events scheduled for today are pending. Further cancellations are possible.
