Slaton shooting victim released from hospital

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

The second victim in last month's deadly shooting in Slaton is now out of the hospital. 21-year-old Megan Moore was released from UMC Friday.

She was originally taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Moore was the caretaker for Faye Gray, 89, who was killed in that shooting.

Moore was able to run for help.

Sampson Blake Oguntope has been charged with Gray's murder.

Moore's family has set up a fund to help pay for her medical expenses. Donations can be made at the First Capital Bank of Lubbock.
