Lubbock Man Charged With Murder - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A Lubbock man is charged with murder nearly one week after he allegedly shot a man to death.

Police arrested and charged Robert Lang with murder on Friday. Lang is accused of shooting Johnny Lee Smith around 10:30 last Monday night at the Starlight apartments in East Lubbock. He said he shot Smith in self-defense but police say Lang's story conflicted with witness reports.

Lang is being held on a $200,000 bond.
