One charged in Saturday collision

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Lubbock police have released details about a head-on collision in that occurred in West Lubbock Saturday.

Two vehicles were traveling on Milwaukee near 32nd when they collided.

Julie Woods, 42, was driving a maroon Mustang north on Milwaukee. Troy Chaney, 28, was driving south in a black Chevy Cobalt. Police say Woods crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with Chaney.

Woods was cited for failure to maintain lane, unsafe speed, and failure to display driver's license.

All parties were transported to UMC.

Cassandra Fair, 15, suffered serious injuries.

Troy Chaney and Kala Chaney, 25, suffered moderate injuries.

Julie Woods and Keila Chaney, 1, suffered minor injuries.
