Sheriff David Baker has been the sheriff of Crosby County for almost three years. Now, he finds himself on the other side of the law.
CROSBY COUNTY, TX (KCBD) -
Crosby County Judge David Wigley told KCBD that Sheriff David Barker handed him his resignation letter on Monday, effective March 31st.
Judge Wigley is calling a special county commissioners meeting on Monday the 19th at 10 a.m.
At that time they will discuss their options for appointing an interim sheriff. Barker's term was set to expire December 31st of this year.
