Feds not waiting on whistleblowers to pursue Lubbock college

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Last year federal agents raided the American Commercial College here in Lubbock.

On Monday we learned that the federal government is taking the college to court.

Last month Shawn Clark and Juan Delgado filed a whistleblower lawsuit against ACC.

It claimed that ACC illegally took 39 million dollars of federal money. Monday's federal lawsuit does not mention a specific dollar amount, but it repeats many of the same claims by Clark and Delgado.

ACC has not responded in court records.

This is a civil lawsuit, not a criminal charge.

The June 12 summit, planned for Singapore, offers a historic chance for peace on the peninsula - but also the risk of an epic diplomatic failure that would allow the North to revive and advance its nuclear weapons program.
