Salvation Army to host BBQ dinner to fund mission trip

The Salvation Army's youth group will travel to New Braunfels, Killeen this summer.

WHAT: The Salvation Army's youth group is hosting a BBQ dinner on Friday, March 23 to raise funds for a mission trip to New Braunfels and Killeen this summer. The youth will be helping to expand Salvation Army outreach in those areas. Tickets are $5 and may be purchased at the door. Meal includes a BBQ sandwich, chips and a drink.

WHEN: Friday, March 23, 5-7 p.m.

WHERE: The Salvation Army church gym, 1111 16th Street (located at the intersection of 16th Street and Avenue J in downtown Lubbock)

MORE: Additional donations may be made by going to www.salvationarmylubbock.org and specifying the donation for "Youth Mission Trip" or by mailing a check to P.O. Box 2785 Lubbock, Texas 79408.
