TERRY COUNTY, TX (KCBD) -
A former Meadow High School teacher has been accused of behaving inappropriately with a student.
Terry County Sheriff Larry Gilbreath says Adrian Zermeno, 26, has been charged with conducting an improper relationship between a student and educator, a second-degree felony.
He was indicted Friday by a Terry County Grand Jury and turned himself in to the Terry County Jail. He was released on $2,500 bond.
The alleged victim is a female student who attends another school.
Zermeno resigned in September after a misconduct report was filed with school administrators. He is no longer working in education.
