Jack Purkeypile named new principal at Monterey High School

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Jack Purkeypile will be the new principal at Monterey High School for the 2012-13 school year. 

Joe Williams, the current principal at Monterey, recently announced his retirement effective at the end of the school year, after 37 years with Lubbock ISD.

Purkeypile is currently an assistant principal at Monterey and was formerly the principal of Evans Middle School in Lubbock.
