The official kickoff to the 70th Annual ABC Pro Rodeo is Thursday afternoon, March 22 at 4 p.m. at the Wilson Boys and Girls Club at 3221 59th.

The dates of the Rodeo will be March 29, 30 and 31. Performances are 7:30 p.m. on all nights with a matinee performance on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the City Bank Coliseum.

The Downtown Chapter of the American Business Clubs started the ABC Rodeo 70 years ago for the sole reason to sponsor and maintain the then Boys Clubs of Lubbock. Over time the Boys Club became the Boys and Girls Clubs of Lubbock with three sites. Since the origin of the Rodeo, AMBUCS has raised over a million dollars to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Lubbock.
