Lubbock Soldiers Return Home

Family and friends turned out with hugs, banners and balloons to welcome dozens of Lubbock soldiers home at Lubbock International Airport Friday night.

The soldiers were part of the Army's 413th unit sent to Iraq with the mission to rebuild. Army Sgt. Rocky Upchurch says, "Our primary job was helping the infrastructure, being a liaison between the military and civilian government and helping them get back on their feet."

The soldiers that returned home were deployed last February.
