LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -
Aldersgate UMC is hosting its "Don't Be Fooled" event on Sunday, April 1 to raise awareness about modern-day slavery.
The event, to be held at 10306 Indiana Ave. in Lubbock, will include testimony from a modern-day slave, an intercessory prayer session, an examination of what the Bible says about slavery, and an opportunity to assist rescued victims in Ukraine.
