Eating peppers can help your heart

Posted: Updated:

The stuff that gives jalapeno, habanero, and chili peppers their heat can also help your heart!  It's been suspected for some time, but now, researchers in Hong Kong say they've discovered that hot compound in peppers, called capsaicin, was the key to reducing cholesterol levels in hamsters.
