Congressman Randy Neugebauer of Lubbock officially launched his re-election bid for District 19 Monday.
Neugebauer made the announcement at Maedgen Elementary, where he attended school. Neugebauer outlined his vision for the district, including protecting farmers and ranchers and cutting taxes. He says he's excited about running for re-election.
"I feel very good about the campaign. We did an early poll and it showed an 11 point lead, which we're excited about, but we're not taking anything for granted. We're gonna travel throughout this district. We're gonna work hard, that's the way we won our first election and that's our game plan for our re-election." said Congressman Randy Neugebauer of District 19.
The Republican, faces Democrat Charlie Stenholm and Libertarian Chip Peterson in the November 2nd Election.
