Construction on 114th Street begins Wednesday

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Paving work on 114th Street between Indiana Avenue and University Avenue is scheduled to start on Wednesday, April 4.

The project is broken into two and half mile phases with phase one starting at Indiana and working east.

The road will be closed to through traffic during construction to expedite the project. 

This project is part of the 2009 bond package to strip pave 114th Street between Slide Road and University Avenue.
