Warehouse Fire in Southwest Lubbock - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Cleanup crews were at the scene of a warehouse fire in Southwest Lubbock Tuesday afternoon. The fire broke out just after one o'clock, at a cotton warehouse near 120th and Slide. Woodrow fire fighters arrived to find sample bags of cotton in flames.

The fire was extinguished in a matter of minutes, however firefighters continued to hose down hot spots into the afternoon. The cause of the fire is under investigation, however witnessed believe a cigarette ignited the blaze.
