New information in the race for one of the Lubbock City Council seats.

Sources tell NewsChannel 11 City Councilman Frank Morrison is expected to announce Wednesday that he will not seek re-election to District Four. This comes four weeks after Morrison admitted to being arrested for driving while intoxicated in October of 2002.

With the withdrawal of Morrison, five other candidates will remain on the ballot in the May 15th Election. Casey Brown-Myers, Dan Burns, Chris Gallerneau, Phyllis Jones and Todd Overholser have all filed for the District Four City Council Seat.
