The excitement is building in Slaton, literally. That's where Bri's apartment project is nearing completion.
Brianna Graves has been sort of a poster child for the Children's Miracle Network since she was first diagnosed with Gorham's disease at age 9. That's a rare illness also known as vanishing bone disease. Over the years, the disease has taken its toll on Brianna physically. Now, at age 23, she is still mentally strong and thrilled about moving into her own apartment behind her grandparent's house.
Dozens of volunteers are still adding a lot of final touches, an also in the planning is a special community house warming and official grand opening.
