Harmony Science Academy robotics program prepares for first tech challenge

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

You may not realize it, but Lubbock has a very special group of brainacs.

The Harmony Science Academy robotics program is the result of some very dedicated students and teachers grades 4 through 12.

Building a robot requires advanced studies. Math is used for measurements and programming, engineering is utilized for building structures while science is implemented for calculations of movement.

While gearing up for some big time competitions robotics team 29-65 believes in team work all the way. Right now they're experimenting with different ball shooters as they prepare for the first tech challenge.
