Cody Scott with the Lubbock Sheriff's Department says 42-year-old Larry James English tried to drive off from Double T Liquor store without paying for his alcohol. It's something authorities believe he has done several times over the last few days.

As of Friday night English is charged with Class B Theft. Robbery charges are pending as authorities say English injured a man while trying to leave the scene of an apparent theft on Thursday.
