Texas Tech baseball honored fallen astronaut, and Tech alum, Rick Husband on Saturday. Husband, a 1980 graduate of Texas Tech, was the commander of Space Shuttle Columbia.
His family was at Saturday's game at Dan Law Field. Husband's wife Evelyn says Tech had a special meaning to her and Rick.
"Texas Tech is such a special place for me and for Rick because we met here, so it's always such a privilege to come back," says Evelyn Husband.
The Husband family was presented with a framed Texas Tech baseball jersey prior to the game.
