Motorcyclist taken to hospital in critical condition

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Lubbock Police say a motorcyclist was taken to University Medical Center Tuesday evening after a van pulled out in front of him.  The wreck happened around 6 p.m. at North Quaker and North Loop 289.

We are told he was taken in "extremely critical condition."  Authorities are still trying to determine who had the right of way.  Accident investigators are on the scene.
