First Apartment Complex Opens In 'New' Overton Area

The redevelopment of North Overton entered a new stage on Wednesday. Lubbock City Manager Lou Fox and members of the Chamber of Commerce were on hand as the first apartment complex in the area officially opened.

Sterling University housing will cater to Texas Tech students. The new apartments are located at 2323 8th Street.
