Two People Injured in Accident - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

The intersection of MLK and Idalou Road in east Lubbock was the site of a two vehicle collision that left two people hospitalized Thursday.

The accident happened just after 6:30 p.m. According to police the Lexus and truck were traveling in opposite directions on Idalou road. The two collided when the Lexus attempted to turn onto MLK.

The driver of the Lexus was taken to UMC in critical condition, while the driver of the pick-up suffered minor injuries.
