Texas Education Finance Plan - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Republican Governor Rick Perry proposed a new education finance plan Thursday in San Antonio. The plan would add $2.5 billion to Texas public schools while simultaneously cutting property taxes by $6 billion.

Perry is expected to call a special legislative session on school finance soon.
